Our design looks to create a distinct identity for a furnishings studio that offers a range of fabrics and accessories. Since this was our clients’ first foray into home décor, much of the initial effort was driven towards categorization, sorting and setting up an easy ... retail experience for the customer. A Free-form ‘cloud’ meanders through the space to coalesce various furnishing and accessory display zones. Inspired by fabric dyes and bleeds, the ceiling feature comprises copper finished steel rings suspended from painted MDF discs. The rings overlap and weave through the store, to form a hovering backdrop that levitates above both meandering and purposeful customers. read more
