Lawrence’s holiday home is designed on a 3.0 acre farm with a reservoir. The main building is set against the edge of the water body with pavilions and gardens on either side. Everything about the project is imagined to stage an idyllic holiday setting, with several recreation options, a large pool and wood decks. These artificial and appropriated surfaces intersect with the natural terrain to set up a variety of thresholds – some designed, and other left unresolved – to create a whole range of experiences.
