Pinewoods was envisaged as an exclusive community of villas perched atop a hill near Beirut(Lebanon) overlooking a scenic valley. The houses are positioned strategically to take advantage of this setting while solving issues of cut and fill, connectivity and orientation.Each villa has distinctive features in the form of tapered frustums that articulate views, control day lighting and add bulk to the walls (thermal mass).
